Kevin James has just become king of a new home.
The “King of Queens” actor dropped $18.5 million on a new home in Delray Beach, FL with his wife, Steffiana de la Cruz, and three kids in August, according to the Real Estalker.
The Florida home measures 12,828 square feet with 8 bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms. Living spaces are enormous, with high ceilings and access to outdoor patios. The gated estate sits on 1.85 acres of landscaped grounds boasting luxury features such as a saltwater pool, cabana with kitchen and bath, guest house, sports court as well as oceanside gardens.
Inside, the home’s amenities run the gauntlet from a private gym and billiard room with wet bar, to the master suite, which has a terrace with a fireplace and adjoining meditation room. Additionally, the home has a spa with a whirlpool hot tub and massage table, kids’ game room, wine room and staff quarters.
Of course all of this doesn’t come cheap. According to Zillow’s mortgage calculator, James is looking at a $64,524 monthly mortgage payment, assuming a 20 percent down payment on a 30-year mortgage.
James also owns two other homes in Encino, CA: a 7-bedroom home he bought for $3.2 million in 2003 and a 5-bedroom house he picked up for $1.45 million in 2002.
